Caitlyn Henderson M.S. CCC-SLP

 

Caitlyn Henderson holds Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY.  She is licensed by the Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDH) Board of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA).  

 

Caitlyn has considerable training in speech sound disorders (articulation and phonological), receptive and expressive language disorders, fluency disorders (stuttering), voice disorders, transgender voice therapy, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). 

 

She is trained in the Expanding Expression Tool (EET), Unity® language system, LAMP Words For Life®, Proloquo2Go, TouchChat® HD.  Caitlyn has evaluated and treated children and adults, with the most experience for ages 2-15 in both private practice and public-school settings.  She presented research on stuttering  at the 2016 ASHA Convention, and was an attendee at the 2021 Convention.  

 

When she is not at work, Caitlyn loves to read, swim, travel, and spend time with her family and dog, Murphy.
